Everyday I’m so thankful and blessed that God ch Everyday I’m so thankful and blessed that God chose to make me a Black woman! We literally are the backbone of music, fashion, beauty, and the world...honestly!🖤

Black girl groups played a huge role in R&B in the mid-‘80s to the early 2000s! We were running things and dropping hits so often. You had the groups that were on the grown & sexy time to ones that felt like your home girls! 🙌🏾

Even though now they aren’t many girl groups, we’re still joining forces on tracks showing the world it’s no need to put us up against one another when we can shine so brightly together!

Go check out our latest article, “Where My Girls At?”, which also includes a bomb playlist you can jam to with songs from some of the best girl groups and women duos you can think of!✨

We also want you know your favorite girl groups of all time, so let us know! ⬇️

I remember reading “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” by Deepak Chopra last year and one of the laws, “The Law of Least Effort” talks about accepting people and situations for what they are. This is so real and something that has stuck with me since!🧡

I’m a strong believer that there’s also room for improvement and that whatever you may be going through in the moment does not define you. It’s so important to recognize that there’s beauty somewhere in the now but it’s also okay to be happy about what is to come.✨
Happy 50th Birthday to the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Happy 50th Birthday to the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Ms. Mary J. Blige👑. She’s a legend, a style icon, and has a song for any AND every feeling. MJB had a young me singing my lil’ heart out to “Not Gon’ Cry” like I had been through some things. Her songs will really take you there, all the way in your feelings. Also, we still need that boot collection because her shoe game is like none other! What’s your favorite Mary J. Blige song?🎉
