I know the weather is slowly changing. It’s chilly in the morning and gets dark earlier in the evening. DO NOT let the season change stop you from slaying, all day everyday! With a combination of a few popular trends in fashion right now, I’m here to show you how to stay fashionable and stylish while the temperature begins to drop.

Neutral tones, stripes, and denim skirts…oh my! This tan duster is a great all year round piece. It is one of the most versatile outerwear pieces out right now; you can easily dress it up or down. Pair it with a fur vest and you’ve instantly added a touch of chic to the entire look. Statement furs have been HUGE this fall and that trend will continue into the winter.
Gray, tan, and chocolate brown can be found throughout this fur vest, making it an easy wear. The melanin us black women possess just glows when we put on neutral tones that compliment our skin. Exactly why I love neutrals! When I was growing up I hated turtlenecks but if you go into your favorite fast-fashion retailer right now, I’m 99% sure you’ll find turtlenecks in sweater, knit shirt, and bodysuit form. Stripes? It doesn’t matter if they’re horizontal or vertical, stripes will forever be classic.
I’m obsessed with this frayed edge denim skirt! Again, this is another trend I was never a fan of in the past but seeing the different ways you can wear a denim skirt now and still maintain your personal style, I’m so here for it! Last but not least, knee high suede boots. Whether the heel or platform is 3″ or 6″, they are everywhere! From black to beige to navy, I’ve seen it all and love how it changes the outfit.
