We’re black. We’re humorous. We’re educated. We’re beautiful. We’re creative. We’re young. We’re fun. We’re ambitious. Why wouldn’t they envy our black magic? Just look at us! This picture shows black excellence in the flesh. We are all, in some way, trying to better our lives and make our dreams come true. When my best friend posted the first photo of us on Instagram, someone said it was a black version of “Friends”. When we get together it’s nothing but good times!
Black magic is a real thing and each of us in these pictures posses that amazing quality. The company you keep is extremely important. If you have goals, dreams, and are striving to be great, you need to be surrounded by like-minded people. One of the things I love most about my friends is that we all work in different industries but are able to talk about a host of topics and have some of the best discussions.
Yesterday, we made a big brunch at my apartment! We cooked everything like waffles, home fries, sausages, grits & shrimp, and more. We all played a part in how wonderfully the brunch played out. Anyone who really knows me, knows how much I love food! Eating and trying new foods is definitely one of my top five favorite hobbies. I try to cook as much as I possibly can. After the brunch, I realized this is something I want to do more often. It’s so easy for us to get caught up in our busy lives, but getting together, cooking, eating good food, and just talking about everything is the perfect life balance.
