A Christmas Story

I know I’m a few days late with this post but I thought I would still share anyway. Usually on Christmas Day, my family likes to open up gifts, stay home in pajamas, and eat Chinese. But this year was a little different. For months, my Mom-Mom has been talking about having a nice, Christmas dinner. That was perfectly fine with me because I enjoy getting dressed up and spending time with my family. A few weeks ago, I really shouldn’t have been shopping but I came across this Essentiel-Antwerp animal print peplum top. Anyone who knows me knows I live for animal print! When I was in college, my dorm was filled with anything hot pink or cheetah print. I sometimes can be a little picky about how big the prints are and color it is. I like to be the judge of it before someone buys me something with animal print. But the dark army green color and sizing of the animal print on this particular top had me sold! In general, peplum tops are pretty versatile and could also be worn with a cute pencil skirt. I’m 5’10 so I have always had an extremely hard time finding jeans that are long enough. Thank God for H&M! That is where I go to buy a good majority of my jeans because their basic washes come in both “32 and “34 inseams and they have reasonable pricing. I’ve heard some people say they’re jeans aren’t beets quality and have ripped on them but I haven’t had any issues yet. *knocks on wood*. In the pictures below, I am wearing H&M’s Super Skinny Low Jeans. The fit is amazing! I also have them in a darker wash. I can throw these jeans on with a hoodie or wear them with a cute top like I did below. My black booties are Kenneth Cole, which I have mentioned in a previous post. I try to branch out when it comes to earrings but I find myself always grabbing my hoop earrings from Aldo. I love Aldo’s jewelry and accessories. For Christmas Day, my outfit was so simple but still very cute outfit to go hang out with my family. I hope everyone had a happy holiday!
