Made in America 2015

Yesterday the line up for Budweiser’s Made in America 2015 was released. After seeing the names of so many artists that I love, I definitely need to request off of work for September 5th and 6th. I heard they’ve canceled having the festival in both Philly and LA., it’s now just Philly, which sucks for people who live over on the West Coast. That works for me because I’m from Philadelphia so it’s convenient but I always thought it might be fun to go to LA for a week to Made in America while also visiting other places over on the Westside. In 2013 I went to Made in America and I had the time of my life! Beyoncé, A$AP Rocky, Public Enemy, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifia, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Miguel, and last but certainly not least, Solange, plus many more. There was such a diverse crowd of people and artists performing. Beyoncé was the headliner and her performances were amazing! You felt like your were at your own personal Beyoncé concert, not a festival. This year her and The Weeknd are the headliners. I’ve always wanted to see him perform, I love his voice and music. J Cole will also be there with some of his Dreamville artist like Bas, Cozz, and Omen. Meek Mill how is a Philadelphia native which makes it even more exciting that he’ll be there and his new album “Dreams Worth More Than Money” comes out next week so he will hopefully be performing a lot of songs off this sophomore album. Big Sean, who I believe has one of the best hip-hop/rap albums of 2015, will be at Made in America. Big Sean is underrated and I literally listen to his album everyday it’s that amazing. He’s seriously talented. Catchy beats and hooks on all his songs, Future will be there. I haven’t heard any current music from Santigold but I love how unique she is, including her voice. Taking it back, De La Soul, will be performing. I love how each year they include old school hip hop! Earl Sweatshirt from Odd Future will be there. I heard his album was really dope too. One of my favorite rappers of all, Fabolous, will be here. You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this man to come to Philly. He’ll finally be here so there’s no way I can miss that! I just can’t let that happen. I need to be right at the festival to see him and all my other favorite artists. The lineup is crazy! They definitely did a great job with figuring out who to pick to perform. Most of these people have had some of the best albums in 2014/2015. Can’t wait!
